We are looking for community members, clubs, non-profits, faith-based organizations, towns, and existing businesses to share their best ideas to promote physical activity in Garrett County. Awards will be made on June 1st, so don’t delay, be creative and inclusive and help us fill the activity calendar with options!

Fun activities to do together are important for keeping Garrett County physically active, but having a safe and accessible place to gather is another part of this funding. Awards for infrastructure, community equipment, and/or maintenance will be considered. Policy changes will also be considered as our goal is to increase the safe, sustainable use of parks, gathering areas, and shared spaces in Garrett County for increased fitness opportunities.
