Join our dynamic team of talented individuals who continue to provide opportunities for people to be physically active. If you are interested in leading an activity for our GC In Motion Series this summer, please fill out the application below:

GC In Motion Summer Funding Award Application

We’re stretching every dollar of the CareFirst grant we were awarded in 2021 to continue re-investing in our community! The main goal continues to be improving access to physical fitness opportunities that improve well-being. By doing so, we hope friendships are nurtured and a sense of belonging and acceptance is created that encourages all people to be IN MOTION this summer.

This year, we’re accepting applications to host events and projects related to fitness and/or nutrition during the summer. We’re prioritizing events that run for twelve weeks (June – August) and have a consistent weekly meeting time.

A panel will score the applications, and notices of award will be emailed by May 10, 2024. We wish we could award everyone, but we are unable to do that. Please note this is a competitive process; submitting an application does not mean you will be awarded grant dollars.
