Who would have thought we would still be playing pickleball outdoors in the middle of November? We are taking advantage of the mild weather but have moved the start time to 10:00 a.m. Everything else is still the same: fun people gather every Wednesday and Friday at the town park in Grantsville to get a great workout!
The popularity of this fun activity has grown this season! We’ve had record numbers of new players this year and are excited to keep it going.
Several groups play in different areas of Garrett County with various skill levels; I encourage you to find your people!
The group we support through GC In Motion comprises various skill levels and is especially welcoming to beginners. They will lend you a paddle and teach the game rules during a no-pressure, no-judgment volley. If you haven’t tried it, there’s still time.

Sounds like great exercise!
It would be great if one was offered after 4pm.
Great activity!
Good exercise!
Getting chilly but still playing!
I hope to try this some day when I’m not working!
Great activity and a great way to take advantage of the unseasonably weather we are experiencing in November.
Sounds fun
