It’s the perfect week to prioritize our health! Milder temperatures and longer days have caused my “spring fever” to set in, has it happened to you? I’m ready to pack away my winter gear and spend more time outdoors with fewer layers!

Yesterday was a great day for a longer walk outdoors. It’s looking like our mild temps are going to make that a bit more enjoyable this week. In addition to lovely walks outside, you can play pickleball and join a yoga class for FREE!

Our sponsored activities will still be indoors for another month because of winter in Garrett County. Wednesday and Friday, it’s pickleball at the Ag Hall from 10:00 a.m. to noon. Thursday evening, beginning at 4:30 p.m. Tina leads a class that you don’t want to miss. I walk away feeling refreshed, less stressed, and always glad I chose to participate in Tina’s class. Join us at the Friendsville School this week!

Our Active Zone Minute Challenge Started….

Be intentional in your movement and plan dedicated time to increase your heart rate. Use your fitness tracker for this 12-week Challenge and log your active zone minutes. We are incentivizing people to move with greater intensity, let’s strive for 150 zone minutes per week!
