This winter activity event is part of a larger initiative called GC In Motion to reinvest in local businesses to improve access to physical activity. Designed in 2022 with $92,986 in funding from a competitive grant award through CareFirst, the Population Health, Innovation, and Informatics Unit has built over 60 local partnerships. The Joint Training Facility is the latest of these partnerships and is providing an inclusive way for Garrett County residents to spend leisure time being active with family and friends!

Participant or guardian hereby waives any and all claims they may have against ice skating and all sponsors of the ice rink establishment, including the Garrett County Health Department, as well as their subsidiaries, affiliates, partners, officers, directors, employees, agents, and volunteers, arising out of Participant’s use of the ice skating rink and all surrounding areas.
