We’re honored to work with our local farming community, Garrett County Public Schools, and the business community to bring you the Harvest Hub!
What is the Harvest Hub? Its locally sourced ingredients are thoughtfully combined to create a large, delicious meal for four people. An instructional video on exactly how to prepare the food is above!
Anyone can purchase a meal box, SNAP recipients can use their EBT card to get one at no cost, and an option to donate a box to those in need is also available. Click the button below to pre-order now!
If an oven-safe saute pan is needed, it is available on a first-come, first-served basis for SNAP recipients upon request at pick-up.
This opportunity is possible through funding from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and the Maryland Department of Health via the Population Health, Innovation & Informatics unit within the Garrett County Health Department. Backbone Food Farm, Honey Moon Farm, and Ma & Pa’s Country Store are fantastic partners. We love working with this team of farmers with a passion for helping others. FireFly Farms has joined our efforts and generously donated their delicious cheese for the meal boxes. We’re continuing to expand this team, so check out additional opportunities at garrettcountyfood.com.

Sounds great
The Harvest Hub Meal Box sounds delicious.
Great video & opportunity for local food. Extra bonus for snap. Oven safe pan is a useful addition to any kitchen.
What a healthy opportunity!
Sounds good.
Great. I saw a sign at our community center for free lunches wasn’t sure if this was your program too
That looks so good!
I can understand why the students respond so well to Chef. He has a way to get you excited!
