Description

Learn the basics in a hands-on environment as we work together to can local green beans. Equipment, safety, demonstration of how to load, process, and safely remove newly canned jars. Each participant will leave with a new copy of the classic Ball’s Canning Book! This program is being brought to you by the Population Health, Innovation & Informatics Unit within the Garrett County Health Department with competitive grant funds from the Maryland Department of Health.

Class size is limited to 10. Must be 18 or older to participate in this class.
