There’s a fun group of people who celebrate this worldwide event at Herrington Manor State Park! Click on the link below to see some of the action from last year. https://gogarrettcounty.com/global-fat-tire-bike-event-2021/
This year, there is a program starting around 11:00 a.m. to teach people how to dress for the cold and make gear suggestions! They will also review fat bike equipment, how to ride in the snow, and more!
The group rides will begin at 12 pm, tomorrow (12/7); depending on attendance and experience, there may be two groups. This will be a casual and social ride. EVERYONE welcome! (kids, too! Ages 8 and up)
NOTE: If there is snow, you’ll need a fat bike — if not, a mountain or trail bike will work!
**FAT BIKES AVAILABLE TO RENT ON A FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE BASIS** Contact Sarah Myers if you need a bike or with any questions by phone at 240-321-9925 or via email [email protected].
