I did grocery shopping, did weekly cleaning, and watching my 17 month old granddaughter.
I live walking at the glades.
Didn’t know it was called the Fort Alice trail. Very cool!
Did not know that trail was called Fort Alice trail.
I use the Oakland town trail all the time. It’s great for a 5K run.
This is one of my favorites! It will be my go-to when I’m too old to climb mountain trails!
Its not GC local, but certainly a short 30 min drive away. I love running the rail trail in Confluence right now. It is so amazing along the river with all the trees so beautiful and the trail covered in Fall leaves. It even had that Autumn Leaf smell today.
Great place to meet friends for a quick walk.
We have walked both trails numerous times. We just discovered the Fort Alice trail a few years ago.
I’m interested in this trail for the view and the history. The picture on the Garrett Trails website… Wow!
Thank you for the information. It’s always nice to learn new things.
Love running the glades to Fort Alice.
Beautiful walk, replete with nature, history, and fresh air!
