Getting outdoors with friends to ride a mountain bike has become the highlight of the week for this group of kids and their coaches! The team, Garrett Composite Coyotes is in its third year and teaches middle and high school kids to ride and enjoy the local trails. Teamwork, trail etiquette, kindness toward your teammates, and bike maintenance are all part of the local program. The team is an affiliate of The National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA), an American non-profit organization that promotes high school mountain biking programs in the United States. NICA provides governance, leadership, and program support to regional high school mountain biking organizations. NICA and our team are guided by values of inclusivity, equity, respect, and community.
