We invite you to join us this evening as we indulge in gorgeous Garrett County weather that’s perfect for being active. Make a plan to try the new gentle yoga class at Deep Creek Lake State Park. Let them know at the gate that you are there for Go Garrett County’s yoga program and proceed to the canoe/kayak launch area, at no charge. You’ll find Tina to the right of the sandy beach swimming area as you look at the lake.

If yoga is not your thing, you can go riding with a really fun group of people. At Broadford Lake, a women’s + group meets for a guided bike ride on the super fun, flowing trails. Riding the trails guarantees a smile and happiness for me. There are a few loaner bikes available for newcomers.

Both events begin at 5:30 p.m., but plan on arriving early to fill out a waiver and get acquainted with the group.

20 Go! Points will be awarded to participants at both events if you have a free account on gogarrettcounty.com to earn awesome prizes from the prize shop.

We’ll see you this evening, June 13, at 5:30 p.m. Visit https://garretthealth.org/events for more information and to fill out the waiver before the event.

This program is managed by the Garrett County Health Department’s Population Health, Innovation, and Informatics Unit, with support from CareFirst.
