Walktober sounds great. I take the challenge. My dog will thank me too.
I need to get back into the habit of daily walking. I lost lots of weight years ago when I started walking. Since I quit I gained it all back. I need to get back to it. October, Walktober sounds like the time to start.
My husband and I started walking in the spring, and we have continued. Sometimes only 1-3 miles a day, but every little bit helps. We both have lost weight and feel better. Excited to join others to keep our momentum going into the fall.
As part of its focus on on walkable communities and pedestrian safety, the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) is hosting a website mdot.maryland.gov/walktober with information about Walktober and Walk Maryland Day, which is Wednesday, October 6th! Check it out when you can!
Walking is a good way to relieve stress.

We plan to take our puppies on all of our walks this month. They surely have plenty of energy for it!
