The Tri-County Council for Western Maryland (Allegany, Garrett, and Washington Counties) and the Garrett County Department of Business Development are asking the public to join in efforts to create a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy to serve as the fundamental plan for Tri-County Council’s economic development efforts for the next five years for the communities it serves.

To assist in the plan’s development, the public is invited to complete a survey, which we anticipate will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. This survey is only released once every five years, and the information provided will help guide federal funding to the most needed projects in Western Maryland. The essential feedback from community members will play a significant role in the development of the strategy-driven plan for regional economic development.

The survey link will be available from Thursday, July 14, 2022, through Monday, August 15, 2022.

Participation in the survey is voluntary and anonymous. Participants must be 18 years or older. Participants who complete the survey and wish to be entered into a drawing to receive one of five $100 VISA gift cards are asked to provide their contact information, however, their answers and identify will remain confidential.
