Welcome back to Day 2 of Walktober!

Today, we’re highlighting the art installation/charity campaign led by Brenda’s Body Shop to benefit Cindy’s Fund: “Weathering Life’s Storms” in downtown Oakland. (More info & article from the Republican Newspaper here: https://www.wvnews.com/weathering-lifes-storms-campaign-to-benefit-cindys-fund/article_0deba744-1103-11ec-af3a-c30ae2ea14ef.html)

While walking around downtown Oakland last weekend, I was excited to see the incredible display, located in the alley across from the Book Mark’et & Antique Mezzanine, and even got a chance to reconnect with several of the girls from Oakland Jazzercise, who were there in support and encouraging passing community members and visitors to join their high-energy, and exciting routines!

One of the most incredible things about small town Saturdays is the opportunity to get outside (weather permitting), and explore the events happening in our communities.

Tell us how you did with your fitness goals today! Did you explore downtown Oakland or another local community? Did you get in your 6,000 steps?, 10,000 steps?, or do something awesome to stay active? Join the discussion below, and you’ll earn 3 MORE prize points each day during Walktober!
