This is a stop you don’t want to miss as you drive up Alder Street in the charming downtown of Oakland, Maryland. Based on the owners Pat and Michelle Hundnall’s love of travel, and the outdoors, the theme “Four Vagabonds” (Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, Harvey Firestone, and John Burroughs) and their travels through the area are expressed in the details of the stylish and rich historical decor. The attention to detail continues to the back of the building where Chef Stephanie makes delicious meals, and small bites that are sure to satisfy the wanderlust of the most seasoned traveler with her housemade specials! As the pandemic hit, The Vagabond Taproom, had to adjust and started serving carry-out meals that prioritize safety for the community. As safety measures change based on infection rates, you can count on the Vagabond Taproom to be in compliance with the current measures put forth to ensure your safety as you enjoy delicious food whether you stop in for a quick bite, or you take it home! Let’s continue to support this local family and enjoy freshly prepared food that we can pick up in Oakland!
